K&J Wedding

Soooo, Im not really the blogging type as you can tell by the fact months and months go by without a post, But I am trying to get back into my Photography Swing.
My baby is 9 months old now and not so dependent and so Ive been able to grab my camera out again just a little. When he was born I thought I would be shooting him left, right and centre but motherhood got in the way and although i already have thousands of images of him, I never really took the time to set up shoots. Also the fact he has Hip Dysplasia and has been wearing a harness for the past 7 months, taking photos kinda fell into the background. Thank god for smart phones for the quick "in the moment" pics I was able to grab.
Anyway the other week, I got to do my very first Cake Smash session. It was lots of fun and taught me alot. I really need to take a bit more time in setting up the background.
My Stupid sheet was covered in creases and silly me just thought "that's fine, i can photoshop that out" and I did, but OMG it would have been soooo much easier if I took the client up on their offer of borrowing their iron!

The Cake Smash Session remains a secret for the next month or so, so it can be a surprise for the birthday party, but I just wanted to share this gorgeous snap I took while we were outside having a lunch break. I know she's not looking but I just LOVE the Light and Colours.

(She's my besties bub, so I'm abit bias, but isn't she just DEVINE!)

PS sorry for the random rabble you had to read through first.

Currently processing some beautiful pictures from a wedding I did this month. I absolutely adore shooting weddings and love seeing all of the affection a Bride and Groom share towards each other. It is not odd for me to shed a tear when photographing a wedding, especially during the vows and speeches. I also spend the entire day smiling and coming home with sore cheeks.
What I love about the post processing is being able to relive the day again and often find myself smiling stupidly at the computer screen.
What more can I say, I just love WEDDINGS!!

Bushwalking at Ophir

For the past two days myself, my husband, and our two kids have been killing the holiday boredom by bush walking around Ophir. I managed to take a couple of pics along the way. But not too many because we were having too much fun hiking, swimming, rock climbing etc.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and is enjoying their time with family.
