Soooo, Im not really the blogging type as you can tell by the fact months and months go by without a post, But I am trying to get back into my Photography Swing.
My baby is 9 months old now and not so dependent and so Ive been able to grab my camera out again just a little. When he was born I thought I would be shooting him left, right and centre but motherhood got in the way and although i already have thousands of images of him, I never really took the time to set up shoots. Also the fact he has Hip Dysplasia and has been wearing a harness for the past 7 months, taking photos kinda fell into the background. Thank god for smart phones for the quick "in the moment" pics I was able to grab.
Anyway the other week, I got to do my very first Cake Smash session. It was lots of fun and taught me alot. I really need to take a bit more time in setting up the background.
My Stupid sheet was covered in creases and silly me just thought "that's fine, i can photoshop that out" and I did, but OMG it would have been soooo much easier if I took the client up on their offer of borrowing their iron!
The Cake Smash Session remains a secret for the next month or so, so it can be a surprise for the birthday party, but I just wanted to share this gorgeous snap I took while we were outside having a lunch break. I know she's not looking but I just LOVE the Light and Colours.
(She's my besties bub, so I'm abit bias, but isn't she just DEVINE!)
PS sorry for the random rabble you had to read through first.
